- Delivering the Next Generation of Eye Care Through Remote Ophthalmology Services
MITAS Medical Inc. will participate in the “Next-Generation Medical Device
Experience Zone” as part of HEALTH DESIGN: Live Brighter, an exhibition
event held in conjunction with the “Health and Wellbeing Week” at Expo 2025
Osaka, Kansai.Organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO),
this event showcases cutting-edge technologies from Japanese companies in
the medical and welfare sectors, offering the general public an opportunity to
experience these innovations firsthand. Through its Japan-born remote
ophthalmology consultation service, MITAS Medical aims to create a future where anyone, anywhere, can access
specialized eye care. At this exhibition, visitors will be able to experience a
device for capturing images of the anterior segment of the eye, which
combines a smartphone, a dedicated slit lamp, and a proprietary app. The
booth will offer valuable insights not only for medical professionals but also for
the general public, illustrating how advanced technologies are being applied in
real-world clinical settings.
