Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan — As of March 23, 2023, Sakai Town in Ibaraki Prefecture has introduced specialized vehicles known as “Multi-Task Vehicles” (developed in collaboration with MONET Technologies Co., Ltd.) for use in their combined medical and administrative Mobility as a Service (MaaS) programs, and MITAS Medical’s service was integrated into Multi-Task Vehicles!
This approach will make eye care more accessible to residents and will be a useful activity for the early detection of disease.
